Like any good exploratory mission, don’t forget to take your Passport with you -- the key to accessing uncharted terrain. Built for the intermediate-to-expert level rider and shaped and sized to be unisex, the Passport is directional in every way but remains switch and fakie friendly. Slightly-wider-than-average waist width is met width 8mm of taper to ensure easy turning and float in deep snow. It’s complemented by an elongated rocker profile from the front insert pack, throughout the tip. A tighter sidecut radius in the tip and tail allows you to engage turns easily, while a longer radius between the feet makes the turn smooth and predictable progression. We’ve added a new blend of ICG 10™ Triax fiberglass to the Passport, adding tip-to-tail snap with precise edge performance. This glass layup wraps our lightweight A1 core - which features three species of sustainably harvested timber, and all of it sits atop a fast and durable Sintered 4000 base.
As the flagship freeride model in our women's category, the directional K2 Outline features a fully cambered profile and uses all of our premium tech to deliver a stiff flex and an athletic feel for lacing turns down steep faces and sending crowd-pleasing drops. The heart of the Outline is our Rhythm Core, which proportionately scales the flex and performance of the snowboard specifically for women snowboarders. Honeykomb technology is integrated into the core to reduce board weight while maintaining flex and damping at high speeds and charging though the chop. Carbon TorqueForks and tip-to-tail carbon stringers transfer energy to the edges of the board for quick response when the terrain gets rowdy while giving it pop, stiffness, and rebound for precision takeoffs. ICG 10 Biax Fiberglass with tip-to-tail carbon stringers give superior edge grip on all snow types, and a durable and hard Sintered 4000 base holds speed and absorbs the punishment that big time freeriding dishes out. For those who need a lot of snowboard for riding big terrain, or for those who simply prefer a stiff, tech-rich women's snowboard for hauling ass down the hill, the freeride-focused Outline is ready to meet the call. - Rhythm Core: Women's-specific core shaping and profiling using sustainably harvested timber to reduce weight and add maneuverability while retaining strength and liveliness. - ICG 10 Biax Carbon Glass: Integrating Carbon Fiber stringers that run the length of the board into our fiberglass increases the snap of the snowboard without adding unnecessary rigidity. - Carbon Torque Forks: Carbon stringers extend at 45° angles from the inserts toward the tip and tail, adding responsiveness and stability at all speeds. - Honeykomb: Aerospace-grade synthetic material blended into the core to specifically reduce weight while retaining strength and flexibility. - Hybritech Sidewall Construction: A K2 exclusive. By transitioning from a P-Tex sidewall into a capped construction in the tip and tail of our snowboards, we are able to reduce waste while giving our snowboards better energy transfer and making them more durable than our competitors. - Sintered 4000 Base: Hard, fast, and durable, our Sintered Base material holds wax better than extruded materials, increasing speed and glide.
