The junior version of the Mantra—without a Titanal layer for lightweight riders With an 86mm waist, the Mantra JR offers plenty of flotation, even in soft snow, but is playful in any off-piste environment thanks to a full-sensor wood core for smooth flex and a tip-and-tail rocker profile. Contrary to the adult model, this ski comes without a Titanal layer as younger skiers lack the necessary weight to benefit from this feature. With the redesigned Mantra 88, Völkl offers a medium waist-width model with modern features, that hits the core of current demands for maximum versatility on and off piste as well as powerful turns in all snow conditions. Redefined during the redesign, the new Mantra 88 comes with innovative Völkl technologies that now provide more dynamics, pop and accessibility. Among other things, the fibers of the Tailored Carbon Tips have been repositioned for improved agility and dynamics. Adapted as well are the radii of the 3D Radius Sidecut, underlining the flexibility of the technology. The underfoot radius of the Mantra 88 has been shortened by a meter for enhanced turn variety. The updates culminate in a ski with efficient power transmission and a sporty riding style that provides full control and more maneuverability on groomed slopes and in challenging terrain. The women's version of the new Blaze 82 with the W in the name is a super lightweight and agile all-mountain freeride ski for ambitious beginners. They will benefit from its low weight as well as its fantastic performance. The smooth riding characteristics are supported by the new suspension tips & tails which we integrated in this model for the first time. The inserts of elastic material dampen snow contact at the ski tips and work like a bumper, especially in changing snow conditions. Equipped with the appropriate binding, the ski is versatile and can be used for touring. And thanks to its low weight, the ascent is no problem. The Blaze 82 W is available in four lengths from 146 to 166 cm and is therefore now also suitable for a younger target group.
