QL 2.1 The Commuter-Bag combines urban design with waterproof function. The waterproof PU-coated Cordura blend is a perfect match to your business and casual look – ideal for biking to work, university, or the city. A buckled flap allows quick access to the main compartment. The flap is adjustable in height and is fixed with two trendy metallic buckles. The internal organizer stows away tablets (8“ or 10“), the laptop is stored in the separate sleeve. An outer pocket (not waterproof) keeps small items like smartphone, keys etc. within reach. Lateral reflectors ensure safety on your trip through town. Once you get to your destination, the bag can be nicely carried over your shoulder. Handles and shoulder pad made of microfiber guarantee comfortable transport. Quick and easy mounting to the rack is ensured by the handy QL2.1 mounting system – when lifting the handle, the hooks open and close automatically. The QL2.1 hooks are compatible with rack diameters up to 16 mm (including 8, 10 and 12mm inserts). A 20mm hook is available as optional accessory for racks with larger tube diameters. The lower hook rail on the bag‘s rear side serves for additional fixing. It is made of a two component hard-soft synthetic with softer surfaces saving the racks. It allows even more comfortable and quicker mounting of the pannier. Simply insert into the lower mounting element, move towards the rack and slide into the top hooks by a lateral motion from left or right. The hooks lock automatically and disengage by lifting the bag. The QL3.1 mounting set features three attachment points and can be mounted to any standard rack. Height and angle are individually adjustable. The mounting components on the bag‘s rear side are flat leaving the bag‘s back uncluttered, ideal for use in daily life. E-Mate has been designed by ORTLIEB especially for E-Bikes: a waterproof rear pannier with the proven QL2.1 mounting system. With 16 liters volume it takes anything for a comfortable day trip or a city tour by E-bike, offering room for a spare battery and the E-Bike display. The bright colored interior allows easy packing; the main feature: a padded and removable sleeve holds a battery (compatible with Bosch, Shimano, Yamaha, Bionix). The E-Bike display can be nicely stowed inside a zippered lid pocket. An outer mesh pocket helps keep things organized and allows quick access to the contents. The new magnetic closure allows quick access to the bag. Thanks to interior stiffeners the bag is stable and will stand alone, helpful when packing. The padded shoulder strap ensures comfortable transport of the pannier. Grey reflectors ensure safety from dusk to dawn. E-Mate is sustainably produced in Germany and made of PVC-free nylon fabric. The ORTLIEB QL2.1 system allows fast and easy single-handed mounting and removal of the panniers to almost any carrier.
